First of all huge thank you for your continued support of Danielle. We are so excited to celebrate her birthday this month on the 15th!
I know she looks fantastic on social media with her cute selfies and positive attitude.
Many believe she is in remission and I really wish that is the case.
She is still battling Stage 4 lung cancer which still remains in the bones of her lower spine and pelvis
She needs chemo every three weeks to stay alive.
Just want to explain why we need your help.
Sad to report that AZTV (Channel 7) fired Danielle.
It's apparently legal, just not very nice.
After reassuring her that she had their full support and even aired her story on their station they took away Danielle's salary and benefits four months after she announced her cancer diagnosis. Then they stopped allowing her to work in a part time capacity. She had been going in once or twice a week. It helped with her bills and spirit.
Which means Danielle has been on disability and paying for her own medical insurance along with her other bills for over a year.
Her Cobra healthcare runs out in September so we are trying to start fundraising now so she can concentrate on healing and finding work rather than stressing about how to pay for her treatments.
After investigating several healthcare options, the bottom line is it's going to be incredibly expensive because Danielle goes to the doctor every three weeks.
I know we're in the midst of a pandemic and people have money and health issues of their own.
I'm asking those who are able, to please considering donating to help Danielle. Thank you so much.
