Support for Stephanie

Stephanie is one of the strongest women we know. We call her our warrior. She never gives up, and fights through all the adversity. Even after recently undergoing five major surgeries, including three visits to the Mayo Clinic, she has always pushed through in recovery and headed back to work as soon as possible. But this time, she cannot. Stephanie has a concussion from a closed head injury (concussion) that occurred two months ago. She has been undergoing hyperbaric oxygen therapy and gyrostim therapy for the past six weeks. She has just started working with a neuro-optometrist who created a six months program to help her deal with the eye conversion issues she is experiencing. Unfortunately, she will not be cleared to return to work for at least three more months. One major obstacle is that she must drive up more than 2500 feet in elevation when traveling to her job. That’s impossible for her to do right now because elevation changes aggravate her symptoms, causing dizziness, nausea, and balance issues. Her job security is truly in jeopardy because of all the time missed, and she will need to pick up cobra insurance. However, insurance does not cover any of these therapies. Additionally, the lack of income for the past two months and a minimum of no income for three more months has put quite a strain on her safety net. These are difficulties that the warrior cannot defeat without assistance from those who love her.
