Hi! My name is Mochi, and my mom Saeko created this page.

I got injured the other day and it turned out I had to go through emergency surgery.

I jumped off from the bed and landed on my hip. I was struggling with pain, and they took me to the vet and found out my hip was dislocated.

There were two options: Option 1, they were going to sedate me and put my leg back into the socket, or Option 2, surgery. They tried the first option 3 times, but it didn’t work.

And they told my mom surgery is the way for me to fully recover; otherwise, I might not live longer.

So she didn’t have a choice.

Thankfully, the surgery succeeded, and now I need to get physical therapy to get my muscles back.

Unfortunately, she canceled my pet insurance years ago because it was never used. So she joined pet insurance for me and my brother Chopper again after this happened, but that’s not gonna cover my bills this time .

So now she is facing to pay off $13k vet bills that she received.
