Lost to the fire

Donation protected
Hi my family and friends.

I have never done this before, but yesterday my Dad lost his home. A large fire in the East San Diego mountains, called the Border 32 Fire, started on Barrett Smith Rd off Hwy 94.

This is the road my Dad & Grandpa live on. A fire ripped through this same area back in 2008, and my grandparents lost their entire bible camp and all that they owned. They have since rebuilt, my dad moved on the property, and all was well until yet another fire ripped through the area.

What started as a small 5-10 acre blaze escalated very quickly in the 105-degree temperature and high winds. There were mandatory evacuations, and my Dad and Grandpa got out safely. Unfortunately, my Dad lost his home and all that was in it.

My Grandpa's home is still standing, but there are telephone poles burned to the ground and electrical wires down on the property. He can’t go back until those get repaired.
My Dad is staying with my brother, and my Grandpa is staying with a couple from his church.

I am posting this to ask for help to cover basic expenses to get my Dad up and running. He literally lost EVERYTHING...including his wallet. My brother took him to the DMV to get a new license, but he now has to recover and build from the ground up. He is in need of clothes, shoes, hats...the basics. Anything that you are able to donate would be beyond appraised. Thank you so very much!! XOXOXOXO
