Erin's Cancer Journey
Donation protected
2020 was a difficult year on our family. We lost family and friends and faced challenges we never expected. And on December 16th my dear sister-in-law, Erin, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Erin is 41 years old, a beautiful and loving mom of my two nieces and nephew. Erin and her family live with my mother and father-in-law in their home in the Fraser Valley where she is a homeschool mom of her three very active and artistic kids. She also is one of the most selfless and compassionate people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Erin has cared and supported so many people in our family and she does it with a servant heart. When we received the news that she was diagnosed with breast cancer we were devastated to say the least.
We are raising funds for Erin and her family as they move forward in this difficult journey. We know there are going to be many expenses that will be a challenge for them and this is an incredible way for us to help minimize those costs. At the moment Erin is facing a bilateral mastectomy, all of her lymph nodes being removed under her left arm, chemotherapy and likely radiation. Some details are still being worked out but costs will be going towards a variety of treatments such as physical therapy, naturopathic treatments (to assist in the effectiveness of the chemo and radiation on her body), counselling and any other unexpected expenses that undoubtedly will come up.
Our family is extremely grateful for your support and we ask that you share this so we can help to make life a little less overwhelming for them.
Psalm 56:3-4
When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise-in God, I trust and am not afraid.
Micah 7:7
But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for my Saviour:my God will hear me.
Proverbs 31:25 (NLT)
She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.
