Please Help Kirk with Emergency Illness

Dear friends, I’m going through a really difficult time.

Over the last two months I’ve become very sick with LONG HAUL COVID and associated DYSAUTONOMIA symptoms (autonomic nervous system malfunction), and my body has broken down.

This has had a terrible impact on my ability to keep up with financial obligations, and without financial help I will not get through this.

I am ashamed and embarrassed to have to ask for help, but I don’t have any choice.

Many of you know that I have been plagued with chronic health issues my entire adult life, and that has been incredibly difficult.

Lyme Disease and severe Psoriasis have consumed me and made my life and ability to survive very hard, and the chronic nature of these struggles has been so severe over the years that it has prevented me from continuing to pursue my love of acting and music.

Now this additional illness is just too much to bare, and without the financial help to get through the time I will need to get treated and heal to the extent that I can return to work full time, it will completely do me in.

This severe illness has kept me bedridden and unable to work due to severe dizziness, breathing problems, extreme shortness of breath, blood pressure and heart irregularity, constant nausea, complete loss of appetite, and paralyzing fatigue.

Also, extreme inflammation is a symptom and has made my entire left leg swollen and bruised, making it difficult to walk.

I am forcing myself to drink Ensure, but am down to weighing only 125 pounds.

As soon as I can get appointments I am going to see a neurologist and a cardiologist to check me further and hopefully assist in healing from this condition.

My current apartment lease ends on January 7. I am behind on all of my bills and must leave/move on January 7, and don’t have enough money to make the transition and bring me out of the financial hole due to this horrible attack on my health.

I will be homeless without help, and will not survive making it through this illness, which has literally felt as though I am dying.

Please have compassion and give as you are able. Please also share my struggle.

*Update: 

Praise God. It took a very long time, but my symptoms are greatly reduced. 

Financially, I have been able to move and am renting a room from a friend, but am still in need of additional help in reaching my campaign goal to catch up and be on a solid foundation.
