Help Save Karl

Friends and family,

My name is Michelle Esteban Pingol and I am  pleading for your help for my cousin Mia Dimacali Mendoza. Her 14-year old son Karl is ill. She has two other children Kyle, 21 and Keesha, 13. Mia was forced to leave her job in Singapore after hearing about Karl’s condition. This is her plea:

“Dear All…

I hope all is well…As you well know, my son Karl had been diagnosed with a rare blood disease called aplastic anemia. To which everyday transfusions of blood & other blood products are needed to help his body function & for him to be able to withstand his ATG treatment.
As parents, you will do anything & everything to save your child no matter what it takes. The financial burden of all his medical bills are slowly depleting everything we have. It is overwhelming that a lot of friends, my family & some relatives had been sending emotional & financial support as well. We are very thankful & grateful for that, but even those had already been depleted since we’ve started treatment & Karl has to stay in the ICU for close monitoring.
I know this is not easy to ask for given the current pandemic scenario. But I am humbly asking your generous hearts to please help my son. I am seeking financial help so we can continue the fight & support his medical needs. We will forever be grateful & our heartfelt thanks to all of you!
