Service Dog Puppy Fund for Haley Elmhorst

Hello all! My name is Haley Elmhorst and I am raising money for my future service dog prospect! For those of you who are not familiar with my story, here is some background:
In 2020 I raised over $10K for a service dog to help me with my disabilities. He was supposed to be trained in medical alert and mobility assistance. Unfortunately, upon receiving my dog, Luca, we discovered that he was in fact not properly trained or socialized and had experienced a lot of emotional damage at the hands of his trainer. We have spent the past year trying to rehabilitate him in hopes he could continue working to be my service dog, however, he has clearly communicated to us that the job is too much for him due to previous trauma. Luca is an incredible dog who loves everyone and has such a giving heart. But when it comes to working in public as a service dog, he experiences way too much anxiety and fear due to past trauma. Luca is now living as my spoiled pet while working on behavior modification to help him with everyday anxiety. The amount of suffering Luca has been through absolutely breaks my heart but I will do everything in my power to help him live the rest of his life as fear free as possible!
Since Luca can no longer work as my service dog, I am in need of a new prospect. This time I will be raising the service dog on my own to be sure the training is done right and properly. We have found an amazing breeder who breeds specifically for service work, and I will be working with trainers via online to help raise and train this new puppy in a positive and loving way.
This past year has been absolutely devastating for me. Finding out my precious boy had experienced such trauma, trying to work through his fear and anxiety, and also dealing with multiple medical issues Luca has encountered. We have been through so much and just need a little bit of joy back in our lives. Luca is ready to be the best big brother ever and help raise his little sibling to be the best service dog they can be!
Due to vet bills, training bills, and the crashing economy, I have found myself in a pretty tight situation financially. The cost of the puppy is $2,500 not including travel and lodging which will be at least another $500. So the reason I am starting this campaign is to help cover the initial cost of the puppy to help get me going! Thankfully I have most of the supplies I need from Luca, but if you would like to help with a few items I still need, here is my amazon list. <3
A little bit about me:
