As you all know Scott who worked for Cal Dive Int for nine years was recently laid off in February of this year due to company reduction. He then hired on a few days later with Chet Morrison. At that time he was in a waiting period for his insurance to activate in May. After only a few weeks of working he came home and a few days later he started noticing tingling and numbness in his whole body which progressed rapidly and caused him not to be able to use his legs and arms.  Through different attempts to see a dr. for an MRI he was denied several times because of no insurance.  On May 1 the hospitalization became effective and he was denied an MRI due to him not having enough documentation to prove he needed one.  Finally on May 7 he was able to get in  to a neurosurgeon who ordered the MRI immediatley and stated that it was severe.  He found out later that day that he was diagnosed with severe cervical stenosis along with pinched nerves,etc. Scott recently underwent  a seven and half hour surgery to open up the spinal cavity to release the pressure on the spinal cord. If he would have waited he stood the chance of being paralyzed... and we received news today that he was laid off from this new company due to a reduction in work.  Due to medical bills adding up, our insurance cancelling in 30 days and him not being able to return to work he is accumulating quite a stack of bills.  We are asking for any form of help, rather it be a prayer, a note, a monetary donation{any amount would be greatly appreciated}.Scott's household{which is his son, his daughter and his wife} depend on his income to live on,not to mention his wife having to care for him.
