Hi, my name is Barb Davis Martinez, I am raising money to help Joan and her family pay for living expenses and medical bills. Joan has been fighting Triple Negative Breast Cancer for several years. It has metastasized to her spine where doctors have found multiple cancer lesions. Joan and her family have decided to end surgeries and other life-saving measures. She is residing at the Kobacker House where she is being heavily sedated to help ease her intense pain and is receiving hospice care.

Joan's husband Jerry is by her bedside 24 hours a day. He has exercised his FMLA from his job for several weeks. He has limited time for rest or even grabbing a meal for himself. Their children, Casey and Jacob are there by her side. Casey and Jacob, take the needed time off from work to see and help care for their mom, sometimes with no pay. Everyone is trying to stay strong. They are tired and full of grief as they watch Joan's physical and emotional health decline.
