As many of you may know by now a beautiful soul was lost on February 5, 2016. Cody Childerston was an amazing individual who will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends. Cody had an amazing gift to brighten any room he stepped foot into with just a simple flash of his Colgate smile. He could also make any room burst into laughter with the absurd jokes or stories he would tell that many of us are familiar with. He truly made an impact on everyone he came into contact with and will continue to do so even after his departure.

Something that a lot of people may or may not have known about Cody is that he had an incredible passion for shoes. He loved buying and wearing new shoes, and would take extreme measures to make sure he kept them in tip-top shape. Seeing that all funeral expenses are taken care of, this campaign has been created to go in a different direction. In honor of Cody his family and friends have decided to raise money to purchase new shoes to donate to people in need. Cody was a caring individual that always put others before himself. He would take the shirt of his back (or shoes in this case) if that meant helping someone else, so it only makes sense for us all to come together and make this happen for him.
