On August 3rd, my husband Jorge was unexpectedly admitted to the hospital. Since then, our lives have been turned upside down. He has faced multiple blood clots, endured painful procedures, and tragically lost one of his kidneys. We are still not out of the woods — every day is a battle, and his road to recovery is far from over.
