Hi, my name is Farrah Austin, and I’m starting this GoFundMe for my sister Leandra, one of the strongest, most selfless women I know.

Leandra is a hardworking single mom who is chasing her lifelong dream of becoming a nurse—not just for a job, but to make a difference in the lives of others. She’s always had a heart of gold and a deep desire to care for those in need, especially children and underserved communities.

Right now, Leandra is enrolled at Galen College of Nursing in South Carolina. She works around the clock—literally from sun up to sun down—juggling classes, caring for her kids, and hustling to make ends meet. Whether it’s working as a dialysis administrative assistant, doing Walmart deliveries, or running Instacart orders, she never stops pushing.

She’s done everything she can to afford nursing school. She doesn’t qualify for financial aid and can’t take out more student loans. She’s applied to hundreds of scholarships, but as many students know, the competition is fierce and the help is limited—especially at private schools like Galen.

Now, she’s at risk of having to drop out—not because of grades, not because of motivation—but because of money.

This is her calling, and I believe with all my heart she deserves the chance to finish what she started. Every dollar donated will go directly toward her tuition, books, uniforms, and fees to keep her enrolled and on the path to graduation.
