Hurricane Dorian Relief Fund

Hurricane Dorian made landfall Sunday 1 of September 2019 in the Abaco Islands as a Category 5 hurricane, Dorian was driving 185 mph winds, with gusts up to 220 mph making set the record for the most powerful hurricane ever to make landfall going 1mph. It was a historic tragedy leaving behind a catastrophic nightmare that will take years to recover. My name is Ariella Mckinney Muhlenkamp, I am a Bahamian and one of the Founders of The Muhlenkamp Foundation along with my husband Brad Muhlenkamp. As we watched the news channels, reports, social media, whatsapp, phonecalls and text message as Hurricane Dorian Devastated Abaco and Grand Bahama as we waited for it to Reach Florida. My Heart Ached and my soul was in constant turmoil for my Bahamaland and sleepless nights to follow. I thought long and Hard what can we do to Help. I Jumped into action The Time is Now! Lets be the light for our brother and sisters in need. Let’s lend a hand in whichever capacity we can. Time is Now to come together and be our brother’s Keepers. There is Power and Strength in Numbers. Be The Difference. Be a Part of the Solution. Untied we Stand. Help Us Help The Bahamas. The strength, will power and Resilience of the People especially my Bahamian People. The Bahamas will rise again like a Phoenix. But first we must come together and stand united. The road ahead will be long, filled with abundance of different emotions but we can not do it alone. We Suffer, Grieve, Grow, Rebuild and Heal together as one Nation no man alone. Be your Brothers keepers.
