Tenley's Medical Fund
Donation protected
As family, friends and colleagues of Toni and Cole Bridges you know what wonderful and caring people they are. Unfortunately, they have been through a rough time over the past few months and we felt it was time to rally the village to try and help them out. As most people know, Toni missed a significant amount of work dealing with some of her own health issues this past winter. With Toni doing better, Cole was able to start in the real estate business which left much of the financial onus on Toni in the short term. However, they could not have predicted what happened next.
Approximately 2 weeks ago, they discovered that their vivacious little 4 year-old, Tenley Blue, had a severe coarctation of her aorta. A coarctation is an area of the aorta that acutely narrows requiring open heart surgery to re-establish normal blood flow to her body. We are proud to report that Tenley’s surgery went very well this past week and she is currently recovering while surrounded by her family. We would like to extend a heart-felt thank you to everyone at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital that helped care for Tenley, you all did an amazing job.
To further complicate an already stressful time in their lives, Toni needed all of her paid time off to get herself healthy, which has left them without income and mounting medical expenses until Tenley is well enough so that Toni and Cole can get back to work.
The Bridges have been there for many us when we needed a friend or just someone that cared. We are hoping this is a time we can be there for them. We are asking for your help to take some of the stress off their shoulders so they can concentrate on Tenley’s recovery. Even the smallest gesture would mean so much. If you are not able to donate, please reach out to them in other ways to let them know you are thinking of them.
