New struggles for Daisy!
Daisy Hartman lives in the small town of Highwood Montana. Due to an injury many years ago she has endured 5 unsuccessful knee replacements which left her knees non-functional. She has been in a wheel chair for 10 years.
As she ages, Daisy found she needs a more appropriate wheelchair to stay healthy, and, though injuries have kept incomes low the past couple years, many of you helped fund her new chair. THANK YOU!
Unfortunatly, Daisy still combats a worsening condition. Recently, she lost a leg to infection related to her condition. She is still in therapy in Salt Lake City from the amputation.
Travel and expenses will continue to mount from this latest battle.
Daisy stays active and helps pay bills as Highwood Senior Center Director. She generously gives of her time and talents throughout the community, connecting needy folks with social services, making meals for emergency victims and more. Husband, Rich,is self-employed as a mobile mechanic and carpenter. He is a volunteer fireman, 911 First Responder, Community Water District Chair and more. Both give selflessly to our small town on their minimal income.
It is my belief that helping such people reinforces and "pays forward" their good deeds.
Thank you for your support!
