Build Swaffham Swimming Pool!

Fancy a swim?
Currently the residents of Swaffham, Norfolk, and the surrounding villages have to travel at least 15 miles to use a public swimming pool. The dream of a pool in the town has existed for decades.
We are a group of local residents who would like to make that dream a reality - but with the added bonus of creating a unique, beautiful, facility built along environmentally friendly lines that will provide swimming for locals as well as drawing people from further afield to the town.
An outdoor, heated, pool in landscaped surroundings - and that can be used all year round - would have many benefits: for the people able to enjoy a swim or a relaxing time, for the local economy and for all the local children and young people as they'd be able to have swimming lessons closer to school.
We will record the names of EVERYBODY who contributes to this exciting project and have them displayed at the pool when it opens. It is a community project in the widest sense and we are in the process of registering the group as a Charity.
