My mother needs help

My name is Matthew and I am fundraising for my mom Donna. My mom needs urgent help! She is a 72 year old widow who was married for 47 years. Her husband, and my dad, died from cancer in 2018. The cancer bills wiped out any financial flexibility my mom and dad had. My mom lost a large amount of social security when her husband died, and social security is her only income. She has had financial problems since my dad died, but now they have become very hard to overcome. I am not bringing in income right now and we are not close to extended family. My mom is facing foreclosure and has the added bill of paying her lawyer. She has to stay in her home as she has no place to go. She is having an electric bill coming due that she can’t pay. Even food will be a problem this month. My mom has high blood pressure and has been to the emergency room three times because of her stress and blood pressure. Her doctor has been monitoring her blood pressure. She is out of money at this point with it being a long time until her social security comes in. I am afraid that mom will have a serious health emergency with this awful financial stress continuing. I have set a goal of $2,000 - that would give her piece of mind (and help my stress also) and avoid this bad a situation happening again. This fundraiser is a lot about my mom’s health. Anything you can give would be greatly appreciated. I hope I am in a position to pay it forward someday.
