A little bit goes a long way!

I met Iris a little over a year ago in a small group I facilitate at church... She was this bundle of energy, enthusiasm, joy and laughter and we hit it off instantly. It was only after talking with her over time that I realized how much she'd been through to get to this point in life. You see, behind that energy, enthusiasm, joy and laughter was a story of failure, loss, addiction, pain, suffering and ultimately prison. I tell you this only to illustrate how much her life has changed - how much she has overcome! She lights up a room, knows no strangers, will give you the shirt off of her back and proudly will tell anyone how much a relationship with Jesus has changed her life.

And that is why I'm starting this GoFundMe.... I truly value what she has done with her life and how much she's impacting others but now she's run into a tough spot. Her truck's transmission is gone and it's about $3000 to fix. She doesn't have it and it's her only means of getting around. I thought to myself, I have well over 300 friends on Facebook and if people were willing to chip in $10 (not a huge amount) to a total stranger, they'd have the blessing of helping somone out and she'd be back on her feet and in action again in no time.
