Asher's New Bike

Asher is a 5 year old boy diagnosed with global developmental delay and verbal apraxia.  He will likely be diagnosed autism spectrum this year.  Though he faces many challenges, he is a stubborn fighter.  It is hard to parent such a child, but I would not want it any other way.  These traits will do him well as an adult.

Asher's physical limitations are not as pronounced as in other areas.  However, the ability to balance on a 2 wheeled bike with training wheels is outside of his current abilities.  This will likely the the case for the next several years.  This campaign is to help our family raise the funds to purchase my son a "big boy bike".

Asher has been asking for a "big boy bike" for a while now.  Please, help us to do something for him that will make him smile.  Help us to give him the ability to feel the wind in his hair as he rides his bike.  He deserves it.  This kid climbs and conquers mountains on a daily basis.  Help us to get him a cool bike suited for his needs.  I want the bike for me too...I love to watch him shine!
