Support Samantha's Road to Recovery

On Friday, May 31, Samantha was told by her doctor to go to the ER of the hospital because her blood work showed that she was dehydrated, and her electrolytes were dangerously low.
When they started the IV infusion, Samantha had an episode where her blood pressure suddenly dropped, her pulse rate skyrocketed, and all of her muscles constricted throughout her body. After an hour of massive doses of calcium, potassium, and other medications, she was finally stabilized.
However, she was admitted to the hospital and a long series of tests were ordered. It was discovered that she had an ulcer and a hernia in her stomach. Also, where the stomach opens into the small intestine was swollen shut and was preventing any food from passing through her system.
Samantha is a teacher, and she has had a lot of stress over the past year. We do not know when she will be able to eat solid foods again or when she will be released from the hospital. However, her health insurance will only cover 70% of the cost. She will probably have to pay more than $30,000 just for the hospital stay and tests. Then she will have other appointments with specialists that will also add to her expenses. The total cost will probably be more than she makes in a year.
Please donate whatever you can $5, $10, or $20. Every little bit will help.
