Hi everyone,

We’re reaching out with humble hearts to ask for your support for our beloved cat, Charlie.

Charlie came into our lives just over a year ago, when my wife found him through a Kijiji ad. From the moment we brought him home, he became a part of our family — playful, affectionate, and full of personality. But soon after adopting him, we discovered that Charlie was struggling with a serious and chronic constipation condition.

Since then, it’s been a long and emotional journey. Charlie has been in and out of veterinary hospitals, sometimes in pain, always needing special attention and treatment. We’ve poured everything we have into giving him the best care possible. Unfortunately, due to some misguided advice, we initially sought help at a high-cost clinic. Last year alone, we spent over $10,000 on Charlie’s medical needs — a cost so heavy that we had to give up one of our cars just to manage it.

Thankfully, we recently found a more affordable and compassionate clinic in Newmarket that has been a blessing. Even so, his most recent vet bill came close to $1,200. These costs continue to add up, and we are doing everything we can to stay afloat while keeping Charlie healthy and loved.

We don’t want to give up on Charlie — he’s family. We’ve chosen to love him with everything we have, and now we’re asking for a little help from kindhearted friends, family, and animal lovers who understand how much a pet can mean.
