Hello, my name is Christian Parkess.  I am 38 years old and just completing my Master of Music degree at the University of Oregon, after re-entering academia four years ago.
It is my life's calling to be a music educator and to share the gift of music with my students. I have received a wonderful offer to do so in, San Antonio, TX!
My wife, Holly, also returned to school last year and unfortunately as students, our funds are very tight and the expenses of relocating are beyond our means.  
We would both be extremely grateful for any help that is offered. 
The funds we are asking for will help us with moving and living expenses, as I won't receive my first paycheck until the beginning of August.

Hotel for two nights $130
Monthly bills $400

Housing down payments (deposit and first months rent) $1600
