College Fund for Alex!

Hello everyone and welcome back if you're returning to this site after 2 years! I don't have a current photo of Alex at the moment but hoping to get one soon with his braces off...
We are still trying to help Alex raise some money for his future college fund because he's got nobody to help with such things besides all of us!
He's been working now for the past 2 years and taking some classes but he's living on his own and most of his money goes to surviving so he could use a boost again from his amazing community!
He was my student for a few years at Mission High School and a highly resilient youth who has overcome much trauma to graduate HS and make his way in the world, especially difficult since he has no family here to support him.
He's got a backstory that's out of a Steinbeck novel, tragic and depressing and rough, escaping from El Salvador to San Francisco, but he's made it through all that with nothing but sheer grit and hope and humility.
However, he's all on his own here and after spending thousands of dollars of his hard earned money to pay for lawyers to get documented, braces to fix his nice teeth, and to simply survive in San Francisco, he could use our financial support for continuing his education!
Alex is one of the stars of an amazing Snap Judgment show called "Senior Mix-Tape" that you can listen to below to get a better understanding of the life struggles of a young immigrant.
He's an exceptional fellow, as bright as he is generous, as hardworking as he is optimistic, and will do great things with his life, but deserves a good, old fashioned break to pave the way for stability, independence and a college degree!
He's hoping to keep taking classes and start applying to 4 year colleges someday soon...
