Support Melissa's Fight Against Cancer

Hi everyone,

For those who haven't been told, my mom (Melissa Stein) was found to have stage 4 adenocarcinoma colon cancer with extensive mets to her liver on 2/14/25 after going to the ER for what she thought was gallstones or gastritis pain. She has already had her port placed for chemo, and we are just waiting on insurance to say it's ok to start chemo.

For those of you who don't know my mom, she is someone who loves to laugh and have a good time. She is always willing to help out and takes care of others before herself. She has always put her kids first between me (Jade), Alora, and Johnny. She was a hairdresser for most of her adult life, and when my brother was born, she left it to take care of him and his needs at the time and has worked as a leasing agent since then. She has gone through many trials in her life while being a single mom to 3, and has always come out on top. She has a strong will to kick this cancer in the butt!

We are just asking that if able, to please donate and help with the cost of medical expenses and bills. She is trying to work as much as her body is able to right now, but with chemo starting possibly next week, we would like her to feel somewhat secure to focus on her health and not worry about her bills during this time. Since she has already had another hospital stay since the diagnosis for pneumonia and anemia. Any little bit will help! Even if you can't donate, just keeping her and our family in your prayers and sending words of encouragement would help during this time for positivity!
