7,000+ Soaps for the Homeless

Donation protected
Donovan Smith is a 13 year old entrepreneur who has worked tirelessly creating a bath product business that also fights homelessness for the last 2 years.

You have probably read or seen his story on PBS, MSNBC, The Queen Latifah Show or in the Huffington Post how he survived homelessness and decided to give back and help others struggling in homelessness and often helplessness.

2016 brings a new mission in his efforts to fight homelessness. He has closed up his soap business to concentrate solely on making and donating hundreds of soaps monthly to shelters in need. His goal is to make and donate  at least 600 soaps monthly = over 7,200 soaps for the year. Oh yes...this young man can do it. His work ethic is as amazing as his huge heart.

In 2014 Donovan made and donated over 300 soaps to the Albuquerque Stand Down to support homeless veterans and hundreds of his own money to the Supportive Housing Coalition of New Mexico. In 2015 Donovan supported St. Martins Hospitality Center by serving 800 meals to homeless clients and donating 185 Mylar blankets, 432 toothbrushes, 480 combs and cases of diapers & feminine hygiene products.

Donovan has now committed himself to making and donating soaps to the homeless and asking for donations to help his mission. The $3,500 is to help with cost of the entire year of soap donation costs....soap supplies, transport, and work.
