Matthew Garland's fight against liver failure

Please consider a donation to Matt’s survival campaign.
Matt has taken very ill with liver failure.
The cause for this organ failure is unknown however all his other organs continue to perform “perfectly” according to his doctors. Currently, we are being told that he will need a liver transplant in the near future.
He supports his two children and his wife, a stay-at-home mother as well as supporting his elderly mother-in-law who has advanced dementia and cannot take care of herself. Matt has been the single support and has never shied away from any reasonability of family and has never turned away a friend in need. With this, like all the challenges he has endured and with his signature work ethic he continues to fight. As you know our healthcare system in our wonderful country is broken. Matt, like so many is without health insurance and needs your help.
Like most people, Matthew has consumed alcohol but not at a level inconsistent with most people. This has made this event even more confusing and seemingly undue, especially for a man who is so young.
Over the past week Matt and family have been on an emotional roller coaster. Matt seemed to improve and mend only to fall back again. He is very sick and could use any help you could offer.
Those of you who know Matt also know he has had many challenges in his life, most of which, due to mental illness within his close family. Through it all Matt has worked hard to persevere. When most think of Matt, the words “hard worker” come to mind. He is a stubborn headstrong hard worker. While he may seem tough and rough everyone who gets to know him quickly realize the kindest soul.
Matt is surrounded with his family, extended family, and friends with love. As we all know anything medically related is ridiculously expensive and the cost are ever growing with each day. Matt is fighting for his very life and the future of his family. He would not ask himself, so we, his family are asking for him. Please consider donating. We cannot thank you enough.
