I am Bernie Strawn of FloHawks/Northwest Cascade, a coworker and friend of Chau. He and his family are going through a very difficult time.

On Memorial Day, Chau came home from work to find paramedics working on his wife, Darcie, in their front yard. She was rushed to the hospital showing signs of a stroke. She would later be diagnosed with having a brain aneurysm that had ruptured. The doctors found a second aneurysm while performing the surgery to relieve the swelling and pressure. After coming out of surgery, she also had a lung infection. She was on a ventilator and feeding tube for three days. It was also determined that Darcie had suffered a stroke as well, which has debilitated her left side. She has remained in ICU since her surgery and is expected to remain in ICU for at least three more weeks.

Chau and Darcie are extremely dedicated hard workers. This chain of events has created a severe emotional and financial burden on this wonderful family. If you can, please assist this Flohawk's family in their time of need.
