Hi Everyone,

My name is Jason and I am starting a go fund me for my best friend, Breyer. Never expected to start one of these but I have been asked by friends, family and complete strangers if I was planning on starting a go fund me as they would like to donate to helping him.

About 4 weeks ago, Breyer started limping and we noticed he wasn't putting much weight on his right rear leg. We monitored it for a couple days and it seemed to have healed so we thought he might have just spranged it since he did miss a step on the stairs on fell forward.

A week passed, we bought him a dog ramp for the car since the tumble on the stairs made me think about how he was getting older and being a larger dog, jumping in and out of the car probably wasn't the best for his joints. He HATED going up the ramp and he would claw at it in fear and scatter. He then slipped off of the ramp and fell off but only a few inches off the ground as he was still at the bottom but then he got "hurt" again.

This time... After a few days it did not get better and actually got worse so I made an appointment with our vet. I took him in this past Monday expecting them to say it was hip or a spine issue that they predicted it would be. They took him in and did a few xrays on his spine and effected leg. They took me back to show me the x-rays and I expecting them to tell me he has a hip issue or arthritis... The vet found a tumor on his leg and said it was likely Osteosarcoma.

I left the vet office and took Breyer out for a walk right after to try to compute what I was just told about my best friend. Never in my live have I ever cried in public. Watching him in pain this whole week, my heart has never sank this low and actually hurt. My big furry baby has always been tough and protective of the family and to see him in pain breaks my heart.

BUT we are not giving up on him as long as he doesn't give up! We have a couple specialist appointments coming up this week to figure out what exactly is going on and out options. We are not sure how much everything is going to cost.

We are making this go fund me for Breyer to allow his support group, that I never knew would be so big, to contribute to his fight against cancer and his recovery. If you would like to donate, please feel free to. If not but still would like to help, share and just send good vibes. We are not asking people for money in anyway but we do not want to deny people from wanting to give to Breyer.
