Hello world! Over Labor Day weekend (September 2, 2025), a stream was discovered running out of my garage. After discovery of the flood, a plumber investigated and discovered an underground (under a concrete slab) pipe had a leak. Rather than suggest an $8,000 underground solution, his team handed me a quote for $4,000 to cut off the underground pipe and reroute above the kitchen to restore water.

Since that week, almost two months ago, my family hasn't had hot water in the home. I am seeking funds to pay for the plumbing repairs that are not covered by my home insurance. I am currently out of work and do not have means to save or borrow money for the repair.

Any help would move us toward this goal. This has been a difficult time for our family and will only get worse if the water continues to be off over the winter due to increased risk of exposed pipes freezing in colder weather.
