House Fire victims

Donation protected
Shirley “Sam” Leblanc, mother of Donna Barberito Jevonna Lawerence, Aubrey “Boobie”Hebert, and Robin Hebert, has lived 30+ years in her home behind the old Freeman’s Cleaners in Luling, Louisiana. After falling victim to dementia, her family decided she needed someone to care for her around the clock. Since then, her daughter Robin, has left her life in Slidell to care for her mother in Luling.
If you are familiar with dementia, you can imagine how tough it is to be saved from your home while it’s burning. Luckily, her daughter is with her, but has also lost her home now.
The fire was started at a house behind Shirley’s bedroom. The fire then came through Shirley’s attic causing complete and total damage to her home.
Funds raised through this fundraiser will be used to temporarily house Shirley, Robin, and Boudreaux (dog- Shirley’s baby), to rebuild, and to replace anything lost as neither of the houses had insurance.
The family thanks everyone for prayers and donations.
