Hanks medical bills

My dogs name is Hank and he is 7 years old and a huge part of me and my family as most pets are. This Tuesday I had to rush him to Tufts for a possible Leptosperosis case. (Please educate yourself on this disease it is worse than google may make it sound and it kills them quickly-also more common now than it ever has been) Once they were able to take a closer look at him with ultrasounds and monitoring his blood work and kidney values over the next few days, they were leaning towards cancer-Kidney cancer or lymphoma. They gave me the decision to take a small needle to his kidney to test to see if it was cancer, the only problem is that if it came back positive for cancer and they treated him for that with a high dose of steroids, it would kill him if he had an infection since the steroid would weaken his immune system. So we have hit a wall. His kidneys look horrible and I know what this means and it has broken my heart in a million pieces that there’s nothing I can do for him. This all happened so fast. So after a week in the hospital with no way to turn this around, a second opinion on blood tests and now estimate costs for euthanasia next week, I have decided to bring him home and spend his last days with his family until we have to bring him back again and have him cross the rainbow bridge. Obviously I never expected anything like this to happen, we never do. And I hate asking for help, never mind asking for money, but we are pretty in the hole from this. Thank you from me and my family for anything and everything you all have done and all of your kind words. You all have been a light in the darkest days.
