Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning, my stepdad, a man I love like my own father, was rushed to the ER after struggling to breathe. During an emergency procedure, his heart stopped, and he went into cardiac arrest. After 10 long minutes, doctors were thankfully able to bring him back.

He is now in the SICU in Weston, fighting for his life. My family is holding onto hope and praying for his recovery. He’s always been the rock of our family, the kind of person who works tirelessly to provide for my mom, my little sister Eve, and himself.

With him in critical condition, my mom is facing an overwhelming amount of uncertainty. Not just emotionally, but financially. Between mounting medical bills, everyday expenses, and the loss of their only source of income, they are in desperate need of help.

I’m asking for donations of any amount to help ease this burden so my mom can focus on what truly matter. Being there for him and supporting his recovery.
