Pablo Merlos, a long time Hilton employee and a Unite Here 23 member, fell into a coma after surgery to replace a pacemaker.  Unfortunately, he has since passed away. Just like many Americans, he was furloughed from his job of being an In-Room Dining Server.   He had worked in the Hilton New Orleans Riverside since 2011 and for the Hilton family since 2001.  Both in IRD.  This situation is going to lead to massive medical and funeral expenses for his family.   Especially with limited income currently coming in.  We ask that if you or anyone you may know that can possibly help, please contribute.  Even a little can go a long way.  Please help where you can and help a fellow team member's family at this time of need.
