Support #TeamTanner In This Fight Against AML!
On Tuesday, January 12, 2021 Tanner & his family’s lives were turned upside down when they were given news that Tanner was diagnosed with AML.
Even if we better planned for the unexpected, most of us wouldn’t include “if my healthy child suddenly has a life-threatening blood disease” in the list of possible expenses. That “what if” is too big, too scary for us to consider for long. Tanner and his family are looking at big, scary challenges ahead. Acute Myeloid Leukemia is aggressive and intimidating. Let’s be with them however we can; let’s remind them they aren’t alone on this journey. They will overcome!
Tanner’s health is his family's first priority, as it should be. They’ll be traveling to and from Breaux Bridge, Baton Rouge, and Tennessee for at least 6 months while Tanner undergoes treatments. They will have to coordinate absences with school, employers, and other structures to which they’ve pledged responsibility. Funding for medical bills, fuel, food, expenses (daily and monthly) is crucial. Anything helps, especially your prayers! We know God will get Tanner through this!
