Update 06/2022:
One year later and we are asking for your help again. Holly continues to fight this disease every day. She’s now receiving daily hydration appointments at the doctor’s to fight her malnourishment from her recently added ileostomy bag. After two unsuccessful forms of chemotherapy, she is waiting to see if her radiation treatment was effective before they plan her next round of treatments.
We are so thankful for everyone who has donated so far and we wish we didn’t live in a society where some like Holly, who is fighting for her life, needs to rely on the generosity of others. Holly is unable to work and has been waiting since January for disability payments. Even once she starts receiving them, it wouldn’t cover all the costs that are piling up.
So please, anything you can help with would mean the world to Holly and her family.

Our dear friend Holly was recently diagnosed with gynecological cancer. On top of missing work to get treatment, Holly will also be having a lot of struggles getting the necessary day to day stuff done for her and her 11 year old son Dylan. She needs all the help she can get so she can focus on what matters - fighting this cancer.
Recently, Holly had surgery to remove a large cancerous mass that looks like it metastasized from her ovaries. The tumor was wrapped around a blood vessel, so they couldn’t remove all of it, but fortunately they were able to save an ovary so she’ll be able to avoid early menopause. Holly continues to experience discomfort and pain, especially as there was a lot of scar tissue from her hysterectomy for cervical cancer the first time.
Holly is a beautiful human being who never asks for our help. She’s brought Dylan into this world and continues to grow him into an amazing person. She’s given us so many memories through her friendship, photography, and social rights activism. Any donations would mean the world to Holly, and would go towards helping her and her family pay for:
- Ongoing Medical Treatments, including:
- PET Scan to check if the cancer spread, as the stage of her cancer is unknown
- Chemo
- Radiation
- Groceries/food
- Services that would make life easier while she recuperates
- Wig(s)
- Cover for lost wages for missing work due to surgeries, treatment, and recovery
