Help Support Pepper Jack's Road to Recovery

Hi my name is Jasmine and I'm fundraising to help pay my cat Pepper Jack's vet bills.

Pepper Jack was brought to Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital in South Deerfield on 5/5. He was seen and sent home with a diagnosis of Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC) and medication for comfort.

On 5/7 his symptoms became worse which led to another visit to VESH, this time with a diagnosis of an obstructed bladder. Luckily this was caught in time before his bladder burst, but resulted in him needing immediate emergency care.

Pepper Jack had to have a procedure to unobstruct the urethra, relieve his bladder, and flush it out. His lab work showed elevated kidney levels, which means he needs to stay in the ICU at VESH for 2-3 days for monitoring as he recovers from his procedure. He is expected to recover, but we will need to monitor for signs of FIC and give him a special urinary diet to help prevent this in the future.

This gofundme is to help raise funds for Pepper Jack's procedures, lab work, medications, and ICU stay.
