Support Mancheno Family's home restoration from House Fire

Hello, my name is Maria Rodas-Sanchez. I am organizing this fundraising campaign for my sister's husband and her brother-in-law from Cuenca, Ecuador, who recently lost one of his brothers (pictured: far left), Christian "Pucho" Mancheno Valverde, to a tragic house fire. Pucho was only 32 years old and died of Carbon Monoxide inhalation the evening of November 4, in his home that he lived in for 30 years with his family. The tragedy left utter ruin in its wake, scorching most of the 2nd floor and part of the 3rd floor, leaving the affected family in dire straits. 80% of the roof is now gone. There is no access to electricity in the home. Pucho's father ( Mr. Rubens Mancheno) is currently living with family members, as the house is inhabitable. The funds are planned to be used to finance a restoration of the home where the Mancheno Valverde brothers grew up.

The restoration of the Mancheno Valverde home will allow Pucho's father to move back in and try to cope with the loss of his son. I plead with family, friends, neighbors, and our community to help them in this heartbreaking situation. Let's enable "Papa Rubens" to return home.

Hola, mi nombre es Maria Rodas-Sanchez. Yo estoy organizando esta campaña de colecta para recaudar fondos para ayudar al esposo de mi hermana y el cuñado de ella que viven en Cuenca, Ecuador. Ellos perdieron a su hermano menor (el esta del lado izquierdo), Christian Mancheno Valverde conocido como "Pucho," en un trágico incendio que ocurrió en la casa. Pucho tenia solo 32 años y murió de inhalación de Monóxido de Carbono la noche del 4 de Noviembre, en el hogar que vivió por 30 años junto a su familia. Esta tragedia dejo una destrucción extensa que quemo la mayoría del segundo piso y parte del tercer piso. 80% del techo esta completamente destruido, dejando a la familia en una situación muy difícil económicamente. En el momento no hay electricidad en la casa. El papa de Pucho (el Señor Rubens Mancheno) esta viviendo ahora con familiares, pues la casa esta inhabitable. El dinero recaudado será utilizado para la restauración de la casa donde los hermanos Mancheno Valverde crecieron.

La restauración de la casa de la Familia Mancheno Valverde ayudará al papá de Pucho a regresar a su hogar y empezar a afrontar la perdida de su hijo. Yo ruego a los familiares, amigos, vecinos, y comunidad a ayudarles en esta situación devastadora. Colaboremos todos a hacer un poco menos duro para el "Papá Rubens" a que regrese a su casa.
