We are going through a tough time right now, Jim Peterson, our dad has suddenly went into a coma as of Sunday, May 17th. He was just fine, walking, talking and working a few days ago, then we get a call saying he's in the ER with extreme confusion and stumbling around. It went downhill fast from there, now we are 200 miles away from home at the Intermountain Healthcare in the Shock-Trauma ICU in Salt Lake City, Utah. My brother Jr has came over 900 miles to be here, we left work and dropped our lives to be by his bedside waiting for him to come out of this. The Drs aren't sure what's going on, we are going through one test after another, dye tests, ultrasounds, cat scans, MRI, blood tests one after another. He's had a lung biopsy to gather a sample to check for cancer, if it is cancer then it will have spread to the brain at this point and the chances of him coming out of this are very slim. But we are still hoping, still praying and talking to him by his side because we know he can hear us even though we get no response.
We are needing help with the medical bills that are stacking up very very rapidly, his bills that we weren't prepared to pay because this all happened so fast. Help with hotels for the very long period of time we will be here, food and gas, personal care items, things that we would normally have at home that we didn't have a chance to bring with us because we didn't realize we would be here for week(s). We do have a hotel with a kitchen in it. We could use any kind of help that anyone is willing to give at this point.
Prayers are always welcome and very appreciated.
