Emergency Move-Out

On May 7 this year I was assaulted at home by my stepfather. 

I have been trying to get full-time work since I graduated in December 2019, but due to the COVID outbreak I have been unable to find work. This did not stop him from attacking me because I still live in his house. First, he grabbed me by the throat, and when I tried to fight back he threw me into the stairs. 

I had a severe bruise on my left eye, bruising on my right arm, several bruises on my legs, and a scrape and a stab wound on my left foot from something on the floor. 

He is kicking me out of the house at the end of July. I still haven't found full-time work due to the record unemployment and the COVID crisis.

I am a transgender woman and I have long suffered mental abuse because of it, but because I've only been able to work part-time, I haven't been able to move out. I haven't been able to express myself at home, to wear the clothing that makes me happy, to train my voice, to do my hair, to wear makeup, to paint my nails or dye my hair, or anything else to alleviate my depression. 

My stepfather has always been there to say that I can't. He said that I couldn't survive work at UPS because I'm lazy, but I've been working night shifts for 3 years and counting. He said that I would never finish college, but after 5 years I graduated with a bachelor's degree in English and a minor in Linguistics. He said I would never move out, and now he's kicking me out during the greatest crisis of the last decade. 

So now I'm here, asking for help so I can find a home. I'm asking for three thousand dollars to cover move-in expenses and furniture, and to cover food and utilities while I search for full-time work. This will also cover rent and deposits, and assist with much-needed counseling and insurance. I need this by July 31, when I will be officially served an eviction notice.
