Dear friends, family, and compassionate supporters,

I am reaching out on behalf of my brother, Ronie F. Pajarito, who is currently fighting for his life after being diagnosed with meningitis, a severe and potentially fatal infection that affects the brain and spinal cord. Ronie lives in Villa Aglipay, San Jose, Tarlac, Philippines, and is known in his community as a kind, hardworking, and generous man. He is a devoted father and grandfather and often organizes small initiatives to help less fortunate families in his area. To support his family, Ronie raises farm animals and grows mushrooms in his backyard, reflecting his resilience and humility.

On June 4, 2025, he was admitted to a private hospital due to intense and unbearable pain. He was diagnosed with bacterial meningitis, a medical emergency that progresses rapidly and can lead to brain damage, hearing loss, paralysis, or even death if not treated immediately.

In his case, the infection has already begun affecting his vision and speech, indicating that it may have spread to critical areas of the brain. Doctors have recommended an urgent cerebral angiogram, a specialized imaging test that will allow them to visualize the blood vessels in Ronie’s brain and assess the extent of any swelling, clotting, bleeding, or vascular damage. This procedure is crucial not only for diagnosis but also to determine whether he will require immediate brain surgery to prevent further deterioration. Unfortunately, this critical next step is extremely costly. As a family, we have exhausted our financial capabilities and are now facing overwhelming medical bills. We are doing everything we can, but we simply cannot do it alone.

We humbly appeal to your kind hearts to help us raise the necessary funds for the angiogram procedure, potential brain surgery, and ongoing hospital care, medications, and recovery therapy. Every peso or dollar, no matter the amount, brings us closer to saving Ronie's life and giving him a chance at recovery.
