Hi, I'm Ruby! I love long walks with my pup-friends, jumping on my toys and teaching my little sister Max how to get the good treats. If you're one of my pup-friends you probably already know that about me, & if we're meeting for the first time: Hi! Hello! Nice to Meet You! Do you want to give me love? Do you have any treats?! bones? left-overs?

You might have seen me in Target, directing my humans to the treat aisle, or at Home Goods, again finding more treats, or at your local park/dog run. I love to go on adventures with my parents and discover new friends, but lately, I haven't been able to do my favorite things because my knee caps have been acting funny. I'm trying my best to get back on my feet, but I can't seem to keep them on the ground for long. The hospital said they can fix me up and get me back out running with my pack, but it's going to cost me a lot more treats than I can rake in this year.

Hi, Ruby's Mom & Dad here. Unfortunately, patella luxation surgery is not covered by insurance and dreadfully expensive. We believe that Ruby has so much more love to give and experiences to earn in this life so a swift surgical recovery is our only route. We are proud to be part of such a strong community of pet lovers and are asking for any support the community can muster for our Ruby girl.
