On January 8, 2019, Bryan VanDyke lost his battle with brain cancer. He left behind his wife, Jodie, of 14 years and his two children, Owen and Kayla.
Jodie was suddenly faced with life without her partner and best friend and all of the responsibilities that come with that. Neither of them were working as Bryan bravely battled his disease and Jodie became his full time caretaker. He was making strides and the treatments seemed to be shrinking the tumor.
The last week of December he started having unbearable pain. They decided to go to the ER for pain meds and instead of treating him and releasing him, they admitted him. His health quickly deteriorated and he passed away the following week. The sudden expense of a funeral and grave marker became a large financial sacrifice they were not expecting.
We are raising money to help offset this financial burden and bring a little peace to Jodie and her children.
