On 2/13/24, while walking back from a bachelor party with friends in New Orleans, Billy was the victim of a hit and run accident that left him in critical condition. He is suffering from multiple broken bones, brain bleeding and swelling, but in true Billy fashion, he is fighting as hard as a he can and has already made positive progress. He is faced with a long road ahead, full of hurdles both physical and financial, so any help we can provide him and his family as they navigate this journey would be a blessing. We know Billy has made friends all over the country with his big smile and loving spirit, and we want to show him how loved he is when he wakes up and begins his road to recovery.

UPDATE: With the fuller scope of Billy’s injuries coming into view, it has become clear that recovery will require several surgeries and extensive rehabilitation. Undoubtedly this will be a slow process. He has had two procedures to date- one to close the open wound from his compound fracture to avoid the risk of infection, and one to help ventilate the swelling on his brain. These procedures are the first of many. These mounting yet critical hurdles have led us to revise our original financial goal to further assist in Billy’s recovery journey. What matters most is Billy’s recovery and we want to do everything in our power to make sure that the financial burden is secondary for Billy and his family. All funds will go directly to Billy’s parents to assist with his medical costs. Thank you all for continuing to pray. He needs all of our prayers and support.
