Sheena is a devoted mother to two young boys, a loving wife, daughter, sister, and a cherished friend to many. In early September, Sheena received the difficult diagnosis of stage 3A invasive ductal carcinoma. This news has brought immense challenges to her family, but Sheena’s strength and resilience have been unwavering. 

She is facing a rigorous treatment plan that includes scout placement, echo, bone scan, CT scan, a medical port, and chemotherapy. Her journey will involve AC chemo every two weeks for four sessions, followed by T chemo every week for twelve sessions, then surgery, and finally radiation five days a week for several weeks. Each step is demanding, both physically and emotionally, and will require Sheena, as well as her husband, to take time off work to focus on her recovery and care for their two small children.

Sheena’s positive spirit shines through even in the toughest moments. She is a light to everyone she meets. She is thoughtful, caring, and we are confident that she has much more life to live with her sweet boys and time to give to this world once she conquers this battle.
