11:38 pm. A time my friend will never forget. 11:39 pm. A time she will never get back.


On Friday, November 9, 2018, Matthew Wright, loving Husband and doting Father of three  young girls was involved in a car accident. Prayers poured in as Mandy and her family rushed to be by his side. We were told Matthew had leg, chest and head injuries and we prayed, we lit candles, and prayed some more. In these moments, time stood still.


We hoped the outcome would have been different. We hoped and prayed they’d get more time with him. What is my worst nightmare, became my friend’s reality. A fighter til the end, Matthew succumbed to his injuries at 11:38 pm. In the wake of this accident, he leaves behind his wife of ten years, and his three girls ages ten and twin 7-year-olds.


We have set up this GoFundMe in hopes of taking away funeral and burial costs for Mandy and her family. Our hope is that this this money will allow them time to heal without financial worry.


Through this horrific tragedy, we have been reminded that time is the only commodity that truly matters. Time to love, time to live and time to laugh. Go hug your loved ones. Tell them as often as you can how much they matter.
