Family in Need

 My husband(Johnell) and I have two beautiful little boys, a 5 year old, Isaiah, and 2 year old, Bentley. Like so many others right now, these last few months have been a very trying time for my family. Thursday, October 15th, my husband was involved in a very bad car accident. Thankfully, he walked away with only a minor concussion, while the person who caused the accident was taken to the hospital with more serious injuries(her car landed in the canal). While I’m more than grateful and blessed to have my husband here with us, we no longer have a car. 

At the time of the accident, we didn’t have car insurance, we couldn’t afford it. And unfortunately we live in Louisiana, which is a “no pay, no play” state. Meaning regardless of fault, the liable person’s insurance will not cover your damages. So our car was towed and will cost over $7000 torepair. We will have to buy a new car.  Our car is how we make our living right now, we are food delivery drivers, and without it we’ll be evicted from our apartment in a few weeks. Right now, we have rented a car but will have to return it tomorrow because it’s too expensive and lose money more money than we can make .

We’re only asking for $2000 to help cover our rent next month, and we will try to figure the rest out. My husband just graduated as a certified Holistic Health Coach and has been working endlessly to get his business off the ground. We would be beyond grateful for anything you can give to help us. No amount is too small.
