In loving memory of Andrew Diaz

We are terribly saddened to share the passing of our beloved Andrew Diaz. He unexpectedly passed on May 21st leaving behind his wife- Ely, two beautiful kids- Jeremiah and Kenzie, and an enormous family that loves him so deeply.


As many of you know, Andrew was the most amiable son, cousin, nephew, grandson, friend, brother, husband and father. To all who knew him our hearts are left heavy and we will forever hold onto the many memories he left us. Andrew did not lose his battle with cancer, he lived bravely and courageously with it until the very end. In so many ways, by inspiring and teaching us he won his battle. He is our greatest role model. We will miss his smile, his laughter, his jokes and the way he lightens up the room with his presence. Admirably, he is a true legend and anyone that had the opportunity to have met him can stand for this. He was the type of person to welcome a stranger into his home with wide open arms and make them feel like family. For those who had the opportunity to establish a close friendship with Andrew we all know how strong, hard-working, charismatic and loving he was and he did not deserve to have his life taken so young.


Losing a loved one is one of the most painful experiences we will ever have to go through. Beyond this sudden loss and tragedy we have gained another angel up in heaven. There is comfort in knowing that he is resting and he is with grandma who also fought her battle with cancer. This GoFundMe has been set up in loving memory of our most incredible solder- Andrew Diaz. Like friends and family do- we stand by each other on good days and stand even closer through hardships. It would be so grateful for your thoughts and prayers in the coming days. Any donation will be greatly appreciated and will go towards all the costs of his funeral expenses.
