Hi everyone! I recently was invited to play for the Division III USA Basketball team in Brazil this summer from July 11-20. I am very thankful to have been hand-picked for this team which is made up of only 10 women who are the best-of-the-best.The USA D-3 Basketball Select Teams are "invited men's and
women's players" from NCAA D-3 colleges and universities
from throughout the USA that have been recognized by the
NCAA and their conferences. This tour is designed to expose
players to a great international basketball experience while
providing a once in a lifetime opportunity for educational,
cultural and social growth.
This is one of the greatest opportunities I have ever had, and this would help me continue my basketball journey longer than I may have thought exposing me to scouts in Europe.
It is $3,300 for me, and $3,300 for one other person that will be accompanying me since I have never been outside of the country before. This money will cover both round trips, hotel stays, all ground transportation in Rio, any and all activities I will be participating in, and USA Basketball gear. I have family members who will be helping me fund my trip so I can put a deposit down to secure my spot, but I am asking you all for anything you are willing to contribute to help us out.
