A tuba for Ajeet

Hi friends and family! Ajeet is a senior in high school this year and has decided to attend Oklahoma City University where he will be pursuing a masters of music in tuba performance.

The tuba he plays now belongs to the high school, so he will need his own tuba to take to college. We've done quite a bit of research, and have located a few options. A solid mid range Cc tuba that he could use through college and in performances thereafter is going to be at least $8000 after tax/fees and shipping. That's for a very nice used Eastman Tuba that we've found available through the Tuba Exchange. Our high school band director has done quite a bit of business with them, and they are a reputable company. That particular tuba may not be available by the time we are able to come up with the funds, but that is our ballpark goal.

We greatly appreciate any and all help that can be offered, and will definitely get all of you tickets to at least one performance when Ajeet is a world famous tuba soloist.
